Structural Block Products

Structural block can be used to create beautiful fences in landscape projects.

However, their primary use is in masonry walls for buildings or enclosures.

We have a large selection of structural block sizes manufactured with either lightweight or concrete aggregate.

We stock 4", 6", 8", 10", 12" structural block with the "fittings" to go with them. Our 8" lightweight also comes in a "split face".

Our stock color is gray, however, we can run custom colors if the job is large enough.

Solar Ballast Block

St. Vrain Block is excited to introduce our Solar Ballast Block products. Solar panels in zero-penetration, flat-roof applications require ballast weight to secure the panel to the roof.

We manufacture several sizes and weights of products that are specifically designed for the strict quality requirements of the solar panel industry.

High compressive strength and density combined with low absorption are important to the long-term durability of the concrete.

Lower-quality concrete will deteriorate in under a decade due to the aggressive freeze/thaw environment that the roofs and the ballasts create.

Our products surpass the requirements of ASTM C1491 for compressive strength, density and absorption. They also exceed the ASTM C1262 requirements for freeze/thaw durability.
